It's the Bloggity!: I am proud to be regretful

Okay so there was this girl I got REALLY close to and at the time I was homophobic and I got scared and just cut her off completely. I ignored her and every time she tried to talk to me I acted really annoyed and pissed off. A few months later it kind of got under my skin because I realized how rudely I had acted for no reason what so ever but I thought I wouldn't have to deal with it because I was suppose to transfer schools. The next school year it turned out that I couldn't transfer and I was put one of the same classes as her and we never ever talk and things get kind of awkward when we are both in a group together outside of school since we share some of the same friends. I started to realize that she had a hard life and she felt like nobody liked her and people constantly make fun of her because she's not really the prettiest girl in the world and today I checked my yahoo and I saw she sent me a message with two little devil smileys saying that I wished I was as pretty as her. Now I don't mean to be a attention whore but I'm not ugly and I am a very confident person so what she said din't really affect my self-conscious but it affected the way I thought about her. I don't know if i would be mad or sympathetic to her.

Yet, I regret how I acted towards her. I admit I was extremely rude when she really needed a friend but I feel like where silent enemies now and I really do what to apologize but I feel like something is holding me back. Maybe its the fact that I was wrong or maybe its just the fact that I actually regret something I did but I'm not afraid of regret. I think its good to regret things in life because that shows that you are mature enough to realize that you have done wrong and this will remind you that you shouldn't do it again.

Now that I think of it, I might apologize even if she did say a mean thing about me, maybe that's just her way of letting her feelings out and I can understand that. I don't want us to necessarily be best friends again but I hate it when people hate me. I at least want you to have mutual feelings for me.So I'll apologize to her in person one day, maybe not today or tomorrow or even next year but I will one day, some day.

It's the Bloggity!: Death Makes Me Go TOOOOOOOO Deep

So today, in my English class, our class discussed what we thought was the best way to live and the best way to die as an introduction to a new unit and my teacher said something that got me thinking. He said when he dies, he doesn't care if anyone remembers him or not and most of the class disagreed with him. Now, I was on the fence, seeing as how I studying Buddhism in hopes of becoming a Buddhist in the near future.

Buddha say that we should except death in our life. Once we do this and except all the other negatives and positives in life then we will find complete happiness. In finding complete happiness, you must realize that this world is not permanent and nothing is forever here.

Part of me believes what Buddha says is true, I do need to except death even though I'm extremely afraid of it but I don't want to detach myself from this world to a point where nobody's going to remember me. I don't necessarily want to have millions and millions of adoring fans but I do want my friends and family to remember me for all the good times we had together and not remember me just sitting in a mountain in China for my entire life.

It's a coincidence that this topic was brought up to me today because last year today my grandfather died of liver cancer. I didn't know him that well but I respect him because he knew he would die yet he never told anyone and the doctors found out too late before they could save him but  I don't know if I should miss him and hold on to the brief memories we shared or move on but I don't want to forget about him because when you forget about someone, it's like you forgot about their whole purpose in life. I think if you forget about someone then their was no point of them living in the first place.

But I guess that's what you have to figure out in life though but it's scary just thinking that I won't be able to fulfill all the goals I had set for myself. I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in an after life and at times, I don't believe in souls. I believe the "soul" is just your mind, your conscience, the person you are inside and this person is controlled by the brain. Once you die your brain stops working so in a way, your "soul" dies with your body to me. Now, I'm do trying to bash any religion or anything because who knows, I can change, and maybe one day I'll be Christian or a Muslim or Agnostic but right now I just don't know. I'm often think to much and maybe that's the reason for my Atheism and I feel like we all don't know. A Christian doesn't know their god is there, they believe and have faith that he is there and that's what we all will have to do, believe and have faith that one day, we will find the real answer to why we are here and what we are here for but until then I'll just be waiting, wondering, and hoping for the answer to come . . .

It's the Bloggity: Crazy Flat-Chested Middle-Aged Moms Stay Hate'n on Them Whipped Cream-Shoot'n Jugs

Sesame Street aired an new episode on YouTube featuring singer Katy Perry, who sung a alternate version of her hit song,"Hot and Cold". While Elmo enjoyed his time playing tag with Katy, parents didn't enjoy their time watching Katy run around in her cleavage-baring get-up. Thus the reason why the episode was aired on YouTube instead of TV.

These moms out here are crazy these days. It's not like it was Kim Kardashian wearing a bikini  pole dancing with Elmo and Katy, she's not even a C cup no matter how many push up bras she may wear. Parents are just mad that they can't shoot whipped cream out their flat chest breast. I mean, come on, I'm sure the parents wear shirts that show off their A cups so why must it be banned from TV if Katy Perry does it. I admit, Katy's dress was a little short but I was never looking at her boobs. How stupid and idiotic can some parents be! I would let my child watch the episode because I know that just because you could see Katy's cleavage didn't mean that that was going to alter my child's life forever. Parents get a grip and learn to just let go of dumb crap.

It's the Bloggity!: Can You Clean My Ball Sack?

I always knew the people who worked for AXE were creepy but this new commercial,"Clean Your Balls"  has officially pushed the limit. I don't want to get into too much detail because I want you to go see the video but as you can tell by the title, it's pretty obnoxious. I admit I giggled like once when I first saw it but I feel like they were trying to push the humor to a point where it wasn't as funny as it could have been. I found out that this was actually aired on TV which makes me feel even worse for the future victims who will see this video. I really hope this video gets banned because I'm pretty sure this is inappropriate for more than 30% of the people watching it.

It's the Bloggity!: Obama Makes My Brain Hurt

So today, I opened my internet browser like I do everyday when I want to get on the internet. It opened up to my homepage, MSN, and I saw a featured article about President Obama's plan to reform the school system. Curiously, I clicked on the link and watched a little part of the video and then read the article about what the President planned to do. I was surprised and discouraged to find out he wanted to lengthen the school year.

Honestly, this plan is bull and I'm not just saying that because I'm in high school. Obama wants to reform, reform, and reform and I understand that that might be something America needs but America is already in debt of trillions and trillions of dollars yet the president continues to spend money on things he think we need to reform but why must he try to do so many things at once. It's making it harder for himself and for Americans because if he does follow through with this plan, we, the American people, are going to have to pay it back in taxes in hopes that this plan "might" improve the school systems yet we still have to pay back all those other foreign countries, raising the taxes even more. President Obama once said that our economy was in a ditch. How are we suppose to get out of the ditch if all you do is tax us to the point where the government still broke and the people are even more broke.

In the article, a school class in Connecticut was asked what they thought about President Obama's plan and a statement was released saying that most of the children thought their brains need to rest over the summertime. President Obama hasn't been taught in a classroom for more than 20 years so why is he acting like he knows all teacher's don't give out a lot of homework and some students aren't taking AP classes. Not to mention, summer break is a time where the student and teacher can have some freedom. In addition, he acts like all children are dumb and need more school but there not all like that. He shouldn't try to make this a law because we have more important things to worry about in America. Why doesn't he talk about how we are going to get out of this recession not how we're going to punish the smart kids because the other kids are dumb and don't listen. Why doesn't he just make it a law that we have to go to school 365 days a year! There's only so much a child can learn until their brain explodes and it's quite obvious the President doesn't know that limit.

It's the Bloggity!: No More Disney Princesses?

Disney has been known for its famous Princess stories such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid that have captivated a large audience and inspired young girls to exert the princess within them but has their most recent princess films began to bore their oh so faithful audience? It seems like the case after The Princes and the Frog's disappointing $104 million gross in the U.S when the movie itself took $105 million to make. Personally, I thought the movie was pretty good but other viewers clearly did not think so however Disney has released of a trailer of it's newest movie, "Tangled" the acclaimed story of Rapunzel. Disney has switched the cards with this one by having the prince tell the story rather than the princess in an attempt to grab a new audience or in an attempt to make more money.

Usually I would be appalled by this choice from Disney but I think it will be nice to see something other than a naive teenagers running around like a chicken with it's head cut off and I think that all males agree with that but will the little make-up wearing five year olds think differently? Well, from the looks of the second trailer which was just released a few days ago, I think somebody's mother's going to have to cancel deposit on that Cinderella dress.

All in all, the trailer looks really good and the main character seems really funny and charismatic so it will be interesting to see how he interacts with Rapunzel but looks like the fans are going to have to wait until November 24 to see what the movie really brings or doesn't bring to the big silver screen.

It's the Bloggity!: Cartoon Network Kills Cartoons!

~*~

As a child, I loved watching Cartoon Network . I loved watching The Flintstones, Transformers, Justice League, Johnny Bravo etc. but nowadays it seems like Cartoon Network is forgetting one thing that made them successful in the first place, the cartoons. I don't understand why Cartoon Network started making TV shows that aren't even cartoons but yet they claim themselves as being "Cartoon" Network. No only do they make non-animated series but their new animated series are just remakes of their hit shows and I get tired of watching the same plot replayed over and over on the screen.

I took the time out of my day on Friday to watch the premiere of Star Wars: The Clone Wars since I've been a huge fan of George Lucas since I was 5 years old. I watched the first season of the show 2 years ago which was a bit mediocre and missed most of second season (because of the whole digital transition thing) so of course I was pumped to see season three yet I did wonder what Cartoon Network could possibly do new since they have to stay within the prequels' plots but after 10 minutes of watching the show, my ADD kicked in I don't remember what happened at all because so many irrelevant things were randomly thrown into the plot. It saddens me how Cartoon Network will bring 20 new characters into a series and have no reason for them even being there which made this episode, a fail.

Next I watched "Generator Rex", which I happen to think is very cliche. The only reason for me watching it is because  I love the main character's personality and he reminds me of my friends so I can connect with him. It turned out to be a pretty funny episode and I enjoyed watching it but that still doesn't make up for it generic plot  and shows that Cartoon Network has lost it's unique edge over other networks such as Nick and Disney Channel.

Afterwards, I watched "Symbiotic Titan" which I thought was going to be a bust but it was actually good. I like watching the way the characters interacted with each other and even though I knew the situation the characters were in could never happen, their performance made it more real to me but then I realized, it was exactly  like a rough version of the Ben 10 series and that I didn't like.

I don't care if your a robot, human, or even a freaking powerpuff girl, I want new plots, new characters, and a new theme not the same bull you've been feeding for the last 5 years! If you want more viewers,Cartoon Network,  bring back the classic and not make me have to pay $100 dollars more to watch Boomerang. I often think that this is what cartoons will be like for now on, dried out and overused  like an old condom but I hope these child's networks get it together for future generation's sake.
